The Kirtland Garden Club (KGC) will be carpooling to Missaukee Mountain in Lake City on Monday, August 17, 2026 to attend a Wildflower Foraging and Plant ID Workshop presented by Erin Horton, Conservation Outreach Coordinator for the Missaukee Conservation District. After a short hike and collecting plant species, participants will gather at the Missaukee Mountain Lodge to make native plant tinctures.
Afterwards, attendees will travel to a local area restaurant for lunch and our monthly Business Meeting. Guests are welcome. There is a $5 fee for participants who are non-members of the KGC which is payable on the day of the event.
Please be sure to sign up with Nancy at (989) 422-6017, leaving a message if necessary. Meetings are open to the public.
