Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve
The Kirtland Garden Club is proud to donate to the Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve.
The preserve is open to the community from dusk until dawn, and visitors may hike, bike, and walk leashed pets through 2.5 miles of our managed trail system. In the winter time, these trails are available for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The main trail is wheelchair accessible and leads visitors past an information kiosk to Marguerite's cabin and the nearby picnic area and outdoor restroom. This trail also loops past Marguerite's pond and a wetland area near Tank Creek, which features wooden platforms and the John Bailey memorial gazebo.
